Dear Bill-

Wonderful that you provide the Toolkit to people.

2 problems:

Can I "pour" an already written screenplay into it and it will format it auto?

Macros seem to be disabled when I download Toolkit.

Thanks for your help.

Alas no; you can pour in the old script and then go through each paragraph hitting the appropriate format keys (as on page 0) but it may not be satisfactory.

>Macros seem to be disabled when I download Toolkit.

I doubt that the symptom was due to the download, they were probably turned off beforehand as a precaution against viruses. Look at menu Tools... Options... General and try with or without the Macro Virus Protection tick.

If this is not what you meant, give me a detailed description of the actions and error messages which lead you to say that Macros seem to be disabled.

Dear Bill,
I wonder if you would be so kind as to answer a couple of questions for me. I've just downloaded your scriptwriting templates, thankyou very much, and I can not seem to enable the macros function. I'm using Word 2002, I suspect thats my problem, but clarification would be appreciated.
Yours sincerly M. B

I regret that I have no copy of Word 2002 here. Is that Office XP ? So I have no idea what Microsoft have done to the macro system. It may be just that macros are turned OFF by default, to make virus attacks less likely. Consult the Help menu of Word 2002.

You would need at the very least to start from the more recent version of the templates, ScriptTools97.zip, from http://www.datahighways.co.uk/dhl/toolkit.htm Link
the earlier versions will not work even on Word 97.

Bill.
