In the list of examples of Script Formats the BBC have added 5 formats since version 5 of the Scriptwriters Toolkit was made available.

While preparing to release Version 6 of the toolkit, I have decided to complete the existing set first and do the release and then to create the newer formats later and add them fo the set of templates.

So Version 6 of the Scriptwriters' Toolkit will be released soon with the following templates:

Stage6c ( this is also the free sample)
Stage6b
Stage6a
UKmusical6 - (a stage play formal including musicals)
Studio6 - (used for audience sitcoms)
HollywoodA4_6 (for Film scripts on a4 paper)
HollywoodUSltr_6 (for film scripts on US Letter sized paper)
PrivateFilms6 - (a more compact version for film scripts)
ScriptDevCards6 - (for printing out development cards.)

See the BBC list for details of the following included templates.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/writersroom/resources/medium-and-format Link

Print out and frequently refer to Matt Carless's script format notes when preparing scripts for submission to the BBC.

BBC_tapedDrama6
BBC_tapedSitcom6
BBC_Screenplay+Act_6
BBC_radioScene6
BBC_radioCue6

For Screenplays without ACTs, simply remove the ACT lines from the draft and don't use the ACT keystrokes.

The following 'newer' ones on the BBC writers room page will NOT be present in the first release of Version 6 of the ScriptWriters' Toolkit.

Stage UK
Stage US
Radio Drama US
Television Tape Live - (US studio format)
Television Three Camera - (US Sitcom Format)
