Bill Williams | Uploaded - 18 Mar 2004 21:26 Download the BasicRules configuration from the link below and Import it into Kerio Personal Firewall using the LOAD button on the Miscellaneos tab of the Administration dialog box. This will suit most ordinary domestic users. http://www.datahighways.net/support/downloads/BasicRules.conf [Link] Bill. Most of these rules are the default Kerio 2 rules. The last 3 are the ones I added. These make some of the others redundant so they are unticked. If you want to see what is attacking, untick NOTHING ALLOWED IN; it will then give you an alert on each incoming probe. Replace the tick when you are bored. If you want to check for trojans untick the ANYTHING ALLOWED OUT, Kerio will then give you an alert when anything inside calls out; then you can play the "What on earth is this prog which it trying to call out" game. For which you can later spend many happy hours trying to identify various programs most of which are actually parts of Windows.
