  |  Uploaded - 29 Dec 2001 02:20Microsoft have discovered a hole in Internet Explorer 6 {IE6} which will allow viruses to execute with no chance to prevent them. Similar to the flaw that was cured by Service pack 2 of Internet Explorer 5.5. {IE5.5SP2} And they have discovered some less serious holes in IE5.5SP2 as well. ----------- Microsoft Security Bulletin MS01-05813 December 2001 Cumulative Patch for IE Summary Impact of vulnerability: Run code of attacker's choice. Maximum Severity Rating: Critical Recommendation: Customers using IE should install the patch immediately.
